After the Redmi 4A launch in March, Xiaomi is set to launch another Redmi smartphone in India. While the company hasn’t made any claims on which phone might arrive, it is largely expected to bring the Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime to the country.
Xiaomi has tweeted that it will launch a new Redmi smartphone soon in the country. The tweet holds no information on the device name or the timeline for the phone launch; however Xiaomi has shared an image which has the night skyline in the background, and the tagline ‘Power in your hands’. Furthermore, Xiaomi India’s VP Manu Jain also tweeted that this would be the second biggest announcement this month. This means that the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime would be announced before the end of this month only. The first announcement was that of the Mi Home store launch in Bengaluru – Xiaomi’s first in India.
